Two dead in car crash on A9 near Dalwhinnie named

A couple who died after a crash involving two cars on the A9 in the Highlands have been named by police.

Police said care assistant Dennish Michael and nurse Manju Dennish, both 32 and from Inverness, were originally from India.

Their car was involved in a collision about a mile-and-a-half south of Dalwhinnie on Monday.

Northern Constabulary have appealed for witnesses to the accident which happened at about 1215 GMT.
