A bird of prey found dead in the Highlands has tested positive for banned pesticides, according to police.
The buzzard was recovered from hilly ground near Bridge of Brown, close to Grantown-on-Spey.
Laboratory tests identified Carbonfuran and Aldicarb, which police said were potentially fatal to humans if ingested.
Northern Constabulary has urged people to keep children and pets away from carcases and animal baits.
