Marketing campaign for Cairngorms National Park

The UK's largest national park is to be the subject of a marketing campaign.

Cairngorms Business Partnership (CBP) which works with about 300 businesses in the Cairngorms National Park has secured £59,570 towards the drive.

The funding has been awarded from the VisitScotland Growth Fund.

CBP estimated that more than 1.5 million people visit the park every year and tourism was worth £160m-a-year to the area.

The funding award - which has been matched with money from CBP and Cairngorms National Park Authority - has been welcomed by Tourism Minister Fergus Ewing.
