'Super fast' broadband for Highlands plan 'progressing'

A planned roll out of "super fast" broadband in the Highlands and Islands is progressing according to plan, the area's development company has said.
Last year, Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) sought a partner to co-invest in next generation broadband.
Cable and Wireless, Fujitsu, and Commendium were among the four bidders for the project.
HIE said it was now negotiating with BT as the sole bidder in the project. Its total cost could run to £300m.
