Flybe in talks on sale of London Gatwick-Inverness slots

  • Published

An airline has confirmed talks have taken place on the possible sale of its arrival and departure slots at Gatwick which provide links with Inverness.

Flybe said the discussions "may or may not" lead to a transaction. It said further announcements may follow later.

The company operates a three times a day service connecting Inverness Airport with Gatwick.

Inverness Chamber of Commerce has raised concerns a sale could lead to an end of the service.

Easyjet flies between Inverness and Gatwick and also to Luton.
