Leeds indie band Kaiser Chiefs will headline the Saturday night of this summer's Belladrum.

Ricky Wilson, the group's leader singer, will follow fellow BBC The Voice coach Sir Tom Jones in performing at the event near Beauly.

Sir Tom headlined Belladrum last year.

This year's festival will be held from 6-8 August. The Proclaimers and Eddi Reader are among the other acts to be have been confirmed.

Kaiser Chiefs are no strangers to the Highlands, having previously supported Ordinary Boys at The Raigmore in Inverness in 2004 and had two sell-out gigs at the Strathpeffer Pavilion in 2008.

Belladrum promoter Joe Gibbs said: "The Kaisers' 2008 gig at Strathpeffer has gone down in Highland lore as one of those epic 'I was there' moments.

"Much to my disappointment, I wasn't, so I'm really delighted to be able to bring the band back to the Highlands for their first ever festival here."
