- Published
The Scottish government has given planning consent for a 23-turbine wind farm planned for a site near Inverness.
NBW Wind Energy Ltd said its Corriegarth Wind Farm will generate enough electricity for 33,000 homes.
The approval from Energy Minister Fergus Ewing replaces the existing planning permission granted by Highland Council.
The local authority gave consent to 20 turbines on the same site on Corriegarth Estate, near Gorthleck.
