The design of Strathdon House was the overall winner
The winners of the 2016 Cairngorms National Park Design Awards have been announced.
Overall winner was a new property called Strathdon House designed by Brown + Brown Architects and built near Strathdon in Aberdeenshire.
The overall runner up was an extension to a house called Tigh an Uillt in Nethybridge and entered into the competition by Sean and Lara Langmuir.
The contest celebrated new and longer established buildings and structures.
It also helped to mark Scotland's Year of Innovation, Architecture and Design 2016.
