Angus MacNeil is due to face trial later this year
Western Isles MP Angus MacNeil is set to face trial on a dangerous driving charge.
The SNP MP has been charged with causing serious injury following a collision involving a motorcyclist in Barra on the A888 near Castlebay Community School in October last year.
A not guilty plea was recorded at Lochmaddy Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
Another hearing is scheduled for September, with the trial due to take place in October.
