Moray Task Force holds RAF base talks

Members of the task force set up amid fears for the future of Moray's RAF bases have held meetings in London.
The Moray Task Force is using the meetings to present its case to Scottish Secretary Michael Moore.
The UK government announced in October it was cancelling the next generation of Nimrod reconnaissance aircraft.
The decision has placed the future of RAF Kinloss in doubt, and there are also concerns for RAF Lossiemouth if it loses its Tornado fleet to RAF Marham.
Calum Macpherson, of the Moray Task Force, said: "Today's meeting allows us to present the urgency of the situation to the Secretary of State for Scotland and to officials from the Ministry of Defence and Treasury.
"It is the first in a series of meetings which, for the task force, is about setting out a robust case for the support measures needed immediately and in the medium to long term.
"This meeting is about engaging with the UK government and making these things happen."
