Lee McAllister hopes to set up a European title fight in Aberdeen
Aberdeen fighter Lee McAllister made boxing history by becoming the first Scot to hold two Commonwealth titles at different weights at the same time.
McAllister, dubbed The Aberdeen Assassin, added the light-welterweight division to his lightweight crown.
He scored a unanimous points victory over Isaac Quartey, from Ghana, on Saturday night.
His manager, Glasgow-based promoter Tommy Gilmour, is now trying to set up a European title shot for McAllister.
It is hoped this will take place in Aberdeen later this year.
Two of the judges scored the contest 120-108 in McAllister's favour, the other scored it 120-110.
McAllister revealed he injured his hand in the second round of the one-sided contest.
He also hurt his right eye following a clash of heads late in the bout, which he said affected his vision.
The Aberdeen champion said: "I thought the performance was OK, but not my best."
He also admitted he was proud of his historic achievement, adding: "I've put Aberdeen on the boxing map, now I want to put Scotland on the map."
