Brent Charlie oil platform death fall man named

A 37-year-old man who died after falling into the North Sea from an oil platform has been named.

Lee Bertram, from the Northumberland area, fell from Shell's Brent Charlie platform - about 120 miles north east of Lerwick in Shetland - on 16 June.

The alarm had been raised by work mates on the platform.

A joint investigation by Grampian Police and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) into the incident is ongoing.
