New voice wanted for talking cactus Spike in Aberdeen

An appeal has been made for new voices for Aberdeen's talking cactus, Spike.
The mechanical cactus recently returned to the Winter Gardens at Duthie Park after an absence of more than 12 years.
Now the organisation Friends of Duthie Park wants to recruit a pool of people to act as the voice of Spike and chat to members of the public as they pass.
The cacti house where Spike is located is still closed after vandals broke windows and damaged plants.
The cactus, which has a periscope eye, was removed in 1998 after breaking down.
