Fresh plans for Aberdeen's Broadford Works
- Published
Fresh plans have been submitted to redevelop the derelict Broadford Works site in Aberdeen city centre.
The former Richards textile mill, off Aberdeen's Hutcheon Street, has more than 100 buildings, many A-listed.
The site has lain empty for seven years but heritage agencies say work is now urgently needed.
Proposals led by the Prince's Regeneration Trust would see homes, shops and restaurants, a nursery and public spaces created.
Other members of the steering group include Aberdeen City Council, Historic Scotland, and architects and planning consultants Halliday Fraser Munro.
