Macduff RNLI raid branded 'sickening'
- Published
Equipment worth thousands of pounds has been stolen in a "sickening" theft from an RNLI office in Aberdeenshire.
The break-in happened between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning in Macduff.
Volunteer Roy Morrison said: "The crew are sickened that someone would go and break into a lifeboat station.
"To think that someone could steal from a charity where our guys go out to sea and risk their lives to save other people."
Grampian Police joined the RNLI in criticising the theft and appealed for information.
