Aberdeen Royal Infirmary inspection widened out

An inspection of Aberdeen Royal Infirmary is to be widened out to include obstetrics and gynaecology, BBC Scotland has learned.
Healthcare Improvement Scotland has told NHS Grampian that the scope of a review is to be extended.
The inspection is already focusing on the emergency department, general surgery and care of the elderly
The decision was been made following information the inspection team reviewed during a visit.
