Thousands of people watched the annual parade marking Aberdeen's Christmas lights being switched on.
About 15,000 were estimated to have lined Union Street on Sunday evening to see the event, which had a 12 Days of Christmas theme.
Lord Provost George Adam said it was a great success.
Meanwhile, a Christmas village - including food stalls and entertainment - in Union Terrace is continuing in the city centre.
