The concerns include a move to a three-weeks-on and three-weeks-off rota.
The union said a planned 12-hour strike on Monday would be suspended while a consultative ballot is held.
A revised deal was rejected earlier this week, following talks with the independent arbitration service Acas but more talks were held on Thursday.
