John Menzies on track for growth

John Menzies says the company is continuing to make good progress.

Edinburgh-based John Menzies has indicated that it is on track to deliver pre-tax profit growth for the full year in excess of 20%.

The distribution and aviation services firm said it continued to make positive progress with both divisions.

The group distributes newspapers and magazines in the UK and provides passenger and cargo handling facilities to the aviation industry.

The company will publish its preliminary results in March.

Founded in 1833, the firm pulled out of the High Street in 1998.
