Aberdeen house prices 'on the up' says ASPC

Activity in Aberdeen's housing market has returned to levels not seen for several years, it has been claimed.
Aberdeen Solicitors' Property Centre figures suggested prices in the second quarter of 2013 were 5.4% higher than in the first three months of the year.
The number of flats sold rose by more than 50% over the same period.
John MacRae, chairman of ASPC's board of directors, said: "The increase in funding from mortgage lenders is one factor affecting the market."
He said the figures demonstrated that the market in Aberdeen was beginning to show signs of activity "of a kind not seen for several years".
But he added: "While the increase in activity is welcome, there is some concern that these figures, if maintained over several quarters, could lead to overheating in the market."
