New Torabhaig malt whisky distillery planned for Isle of Skye

Construction work at Torabhaig could begin in early summer
Plans for a new malt distillery for Skye - only the second on the Hebridean island - have been unveiled.
The Torabhaig Distillery is expected to cost more than £5m and employ about eight people.
Torabhaig Distillery, a subsidiary of Mossburn Distillers, is planning the venture at a farm steading at Torabhaig.
Construction work could begin in early summer, with whisky set to be produced by the end of 2015.
Mossburn chief executive Neil Mathieson said: "Skye is renowned all over the world for its natural beauty and cultural heritage and we believe that Torabhaig will be a valuable contribution both to whisky distilling on Skye and to the island's continuing attraction to international visitors.
"It's a perfect location for a small, traditional distillery and we look forward to working with the local community to bring our plans to life."
Plans for Torabhaig are being created by Edinburgh architects Simpson and Brown.
