Scotsman journalists told to focus on online news over print

Journalists at The Scotsman have been told to focus on online news rather than the print titles.
JPI, which also owns the Edinburgh Evening News and Scotland on Sunday, is moving to what it calls "digital acceleration" on the publications.
Staff were told of the change as it was announced that editorial director Frank O'Donnell was stepping down.
He is moving to DC Thomson, where he will be editor in chief of The Press and Journal and the Evening Express.
Mr O'Donnell, who joined The Scotsman in 2000 and has been editor since April 2017, will take up the new post in May.
In the meantime he will lead the implementation of the digital strategy at JPI, which goes live on 16 March.
Mr O'Donnell said: "I have made many great friends in my time here and will look back on this period with great fondness and with the certainty that our brands are in stronger shape for a sustainable digital future."
