Scottish independence: MSPs back Section 30 legal order

The legal power giving Holyrood responsibility to stage the independence referendum has been endorsed by MSPs.
The Scottish Parliament voted in favour of a technical measure, known as a "Section 30 order".
It will grant Holyrood temporary powers to hold a referendum that is legally binding and beyond challenge.
The Scottish government is planning to stage the independence referendum in Autumn 2014.
