Icy roads warning for Scots motorists

Motorists in Scotland have been warned to beware of icy roads after a night of sub-zero temperatures.
The Met Office has issued amber "be prepared" warnings of ice for Grampian, Strathclyde, Tayside, Central, Fife, Lothian and Borders and the south-west.
It warned of "widespread icy patches" across those regions.
A yellow "be aware" warning has been issued for the Highlands and Western Isles. The weather is expected to improve throughout the day.
BBC Scotland weather presenter Gillian Smart said rain, sleet and snow would clear away overnight, leaving a widespread risk of ice on untreated roads.
Sunday is expected to be mostly dry with some sunny spells.
A horse racing meeting at Musselburgh has been abandoned due to parts of the track being frozen.
Clerk of the course Harriet Graham said: "We were tantalisingly close, but we've still got frozen places and have abandoned.
"Unfortunately it got to minus 1C overnight and we are not due to get warmer temperatures until midday.
"It is really frustrating."
Transport Minister Keith Brown said the government's resilience team would be in regular contact with the Met Office, police, and road and rail operators.
