Southern and central Scotland on rain and flood alert
- Published
A Met Office weather warning has highlighted the risk of more persistent and heavy rain across southern and central Scotland.
It covers most of the day on Wednesday for south west Scotland, the Borders, Lothian, Strathclyde, Central, Tayside and Fife.
With the ground in many areas already saturated, the Met Office said there was a risk of localised flooding.
Last week many roads in the Borders were affected by flood water.
