Public consultation on Scottish Borders Council budget

  • Published

Scottish Borders Council has agreed to consult on the administration's draft revenue budget proposals for the next five years.

It will include "significant investment" in eight priority areas, including improving children's achievements and attainments.

Management and administration will be streamlined to allow savings to be re-invested into front-line services.

The council will be asked to approve the budget in February.
