Police investigating the disappearance of a Stirling University student have stopped and questioned motorists and pedestrians in the area he was last seen.
David O'Halloran, 18, went missing two weeks ago after a night out in Stirling.
The last sighting of him was on Henderson Street in Bridge of Allan at about 02:20 on 18 January.
Officers want to trace the driver of a white car seen in the area at time.
Insp Pat Scroggie said: "Those out and about at this time could be shift workers, delivery drivers or even people returning from a night out."
"We are particularly keen to trace the driver of a white car, possibly a Skoda or similar to it, which was seen to drive along Henderson Street prior to the last sighting of David.
"The car was travelling from the Keir Roundabout direction and David was on the opposite pavement to the car. We are keen to trace this motorist, who would have been driving through Bridge of Allan about 02:15, as they may be able to give further details of the direction David was heading."
David is described as being 5ft 5in tall, of slim build and has brown hair, with blond highlights, which is short at the back and longer on top.
He was wearing a white t-shirt with a black and green checked shirt on top. He was also wearing black slim-fit jeans and black trainers.
