Woman in serious condition after three-car crash on A9

A woman is in a serious condition in hospital after a three-car crash on the the A9 near Blair Atholl in Perthshire.

The accident happened at about 15:20 on Friday outside Killiecrankie.

The woman is being treated at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee after being airlifted from the scene.

The road was closed on both carriageways for several hours while police investigations were carried out. Diversions were in place.
