Second man in court charged with murder of Dundee man

Steven Hutton died in Dundee's Ninewells Hospital on Sunday morning

A second man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a 43-year-old man in Dundee.

Steven Hutton was found seriously injured inside a property in the city's Charleston Road on Saturday evening. He died in hospital the following day.

Scott Henderson, 39, made no plea or declaration when he appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear in court again within eight days.

On Tuesday, Barry Murray, 43, was remanded in custody after appearing in court accused of murder.

He was accused of forcing entry to Mr Hutton's home and murdering him, while acting with others.

Police Scotland said that Mr Hutton's death was being treated as murder following a post-mortem examination, and that inquiries were continuing.
