A record 240,964 people have visited the Royal Welsh Show in Powys after one of the hottest weeks of the year so far.
The figure breaks the previous record of 240,140 set in 2006 at the four-day event in Llanelwedd.
The show has been bathed in sunshine all week, with temperatures reaching 26C (79F) after weeks of heavy rain.
But the heatwave has caused problems for medical teams with dozens of people suffering from heat-related problems.
A man suffered first degree burns and heatstroke after a third busy day for medical staff at the Royal Welsh Show.
He was given morphine and intravenous fluids at the event before being transferred to Swansea's Morriston Hospital on Wednesday night.
St John Wales treated 206 people during the day for a variety of injuries, including heat-related problems.
There have been more heat-related incidents on Thursday as temperatures again soared.
Medical staff at the show said they had treated 760 people so far this week, with a few hours of the show remaining, compared to 480 last year.
The show's chairman of council Alun Evans said: "This show has been an amazing success and it's only been a success because everybody wanted it to be a success."
Visiting
The show has welcomed hundreds of overseas visitors as well.
Mr Evans said: "I was talking to visitors from South Africa. They said this was the show they came to visit every year.
"One visitor from Guatemala answered me in Welsh, so not only are people visiting from overseas, but they are learning the language as well," Mr Evans joked.
Ch Supt Steve Hughson of Dyfed-Powys Police said there had been only 10 reported offences at the show this year, compared to 39 last year.
He said there were five arrests, which was similar to a small town on an average Saturday night.
