A541 Pontblyddyn closed after serious collision

A Flintshire road remains closed after a serious collision.

A stretch of the A541 near Pontblyddyn was closed in both directions following the incident at about 17:00 BST, and police do not know when it will reopen.

Two vehicles were involved, and two fire crews and a technical rescue unit were called to help free a person from a car. Diversions are in place.
