World leaders will dine at landmark venues in south Wales, with Welsh food on the menu during the Nato summit.
Cardiff Castle and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama will also be among those hosting events for heads of state and government leaders.
Welsh Secretary Stephen Crabb described the summit as an opportunity to showcase Wales on a global stage.
Newport's Celtic Manor is the main venue for a meeting of 60 world leaders on Thursday 4 September.
Tredegar House in Newport will host a reception for hundreds of international journalists expected to cover the summit.
Hospitality
First Minister Carwyn Jones said: "I am delighted that some of the most striking buildings in both Newport and Cardiff will be used to showcase the best of Welsh hospitality during the Nato summit.
"The eyes of the world will be on Wales and a huge amount of work is underway to ensure that it is a smooth and successful summit, with close co-operation between the Welsh and UK governments to maximise this unique opportunity."
Welsh food and drink will be served as the UK and Welsh governments say they want to "seize the opportunity to showcase Wales to the world".
Mr Crabb said: "I'm delighted that representatives from around the world will have the chance to experience first-hand Wales's rich history and cultural heritage as well as our traditional warm welcome and hospitality."
