Queues ease on M4 motorway between Cardiff and Newport

Queues that stretched for eight miles on the M4 between Cardiff and Newport have cleared following an earlier accident involving four vehicles.
The congestion eastbound from junction 30 at Cardiff Gate to junction 26 at Malpas Road also affected rush hour traffic on the A48, which leads to junction 29 of the M4.
One lane of the motorway was blocked after after the collisions just before 8am.
The vehicles have now been recovered.
Traffic Wales cameras show queues clearing and traffic flow in the area returning to normal.
