Cambrian News editor plans new local paper edition

Average newspaper circulations in Wales have continued to fall, according to latest industry figures.

However, publishers have seen significant increases in the numbers of people using their online news sites.

Figures compiled for ABC show the Western Mail's circulation has dropped below 20,000 for the December and January.

Beverly Thomas, managing editor of the Aberystwyth-based Cambrian News, said she is confident the paper can prosper, despite the digital challenge.
