Government probe into Tai Cantref housing association

A housing association which owns affordable homes in parts of mid and south west Wales is being investigated by the Welsh government.
No details have been released over why Tai Cantref is being looked into.
It rents 1,415 homes in Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Machynlleth in Powys and said it is fully compliant with requirements.
A Welsh government spokesman said it would be "inappropriate" to comment until the inquiry is completed.
Lynne Sacale, chief executive of Tai Cantref, said: "We want to reassure our tenants that Cantref is fully compliant with all financial and regulatory requirements to date.
"We have recently undergone a robust and successful statutory audit and our performance indicators show we deliver high quality services to our customers.
"We welcome the inquiry on the basis that any findings will be to the benefit of the association going forward."
