Llanelli wellness village 'the whole world will look at'

A £225m well-being village near Llanelli is part of a radical new approach to healthcare being developed in west Wales.

The proposals includes sport and leisure, alongside assisted living and medical research companies.

Carmarthenshire Council's executive member for regeneration and leisure Meryl Gravell said the idea had grown to include Swansea University and private partners to look at health in the round.
