Swansea Bay city region deal 'couldn't be more ready'
The Swansea region "couldn't be more ready" to sign a city deal with the UK government, the leader of the council has said.
There are hopes more than £1.3bn could be invested across four council areas over a 15 year period, with the vision of an "internet coast" - based on hi-tech industries being developed.
Councillor Rob Stewart said there had been enthusiasm from private businesses.
