Forestry 'poor relation' fear in Natural Resources Wales

A leading figure in the timber industry has accused Natural Resources Wales of treating forestry as a "poor relation".

David Sulman of the UK Forest Products Association said it was in danger of "squandering the legacy" of Forestry Commission Wales, after the merged environmental organisation took over its functions in 2013.

Mr Sulman told the Assembly's Public Accounts Committee there was an "extremely worrying" loss of expertise.
