AMs criticise environment merger in report
The Welsh government's proposals to merge the Countryside Council, Environment Agency and the Forestry Commission in to one body in Wales has been criticised in an assembly report.
The Environment and Sustainability Committee says there are particular risks in bringing the Forestry Commission in to the agency as there could be tensions between its sustainability role against social and economic considerations.
Chairman of the committee Lord Dafydd Elis-Thomas spoke to Bethan Rhys Roberts on BBC Good Morning Wales.
