'They kicked me to the ground', says bullied MP

A Welsh Labour MP has told of being "horrifically" bullied when at school.

Ogmore MP Chris Elmore said he required mental health support several times and had surgery aged 17 after seven school friends attacked him.

He was speaking in a Commons debate on sexual harassment and violence in schools.

Mr Elmore told the Good Morning Wales programme abuse in schools has a "huge" effect on mental health.
