Natwest branch closures will be 'a great loss'

The closure of a Natwest branch in Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire will be "a great loss", according to locals.

Royal Bank of Scotland announced it would shut branches in May and June next year - including 20 in Wales.

It said the closures were due to changes in the way people use its services, with customers choosing to bank online or on mobiles instead.

However, local people told BBC Wales reporter Ben Price the move would cause problems for elderly people who did not use the internet.
