Barry Island litter: 'There'll be no excuse not to use a bin'

Extra bins are being placed around one of Wales' most popular beaches to try to stop litter ruining it.

Barry Island was covered in rubbish after large crowds went there to enjoy the hot weather on May Day.

But the Vale of Glamorgan council said it was determined not for a repeat this bank holiday.

Director of environment and housing Miles Punter said there would be no excuse not to use a bin.
