How do other European countries tackle plastic pollution?

Millions of tonnes of plastic end up in the world's oceans each year.

The UK Government recently announced big plans to cut all avoidable plastic waste by 2042.

Countries such as Germany, Norway and Sweden already have schemes to help recycle over 90% of their plastic bottles.

Newsround spoke to Lana and Thomas from Norway, who explained how their country tackles plastic pollution.
