Children in Need raised £2.45m in Wales during Friday's fundraiser.
The total forms part of a record-breaking UK total of £50.6m on the night.
Children in Need has now raised more than £1bn since it began the annual fundraiser in 1980.
Money raised in Wales was slightly above last year's total of £2.4m, when more than 150 charities were helped from the cash brought in from across the country.
Funds raised also go towards the Welsh Refugee Council and charities such as Bobath, Llamau and Nightingale House.
Welsh rock band Feeder and X Factor finalist Lucie Jones joined Sean Fletcher and Josie Darby in BBC Wales studio this year to mark the occasion.
Meanwhile, The One Show's Matt Baker took on a rickshaw challenge, peddling from Edinburgh Castle to London via Wales, arriving in the UK capital on Friday evening.
