Welsh learner from Ireland looks forward to Wales visit

Philip Mac a' Ghoill from Ireland decided to learn Welsh after attending a Celtic studies conference in Edinburgh - despite never having been to Wales.

"Lockdown has given people like me an opportunity to learn Welsh because everything is online," he said.

After a year of study and conversation, he is now fluent and is looking forward to his first visit to Wales once restrictions are lifted.
