Climate Change: £1.7bn renewable energy project for Swansea Bay
The Blue Eden project is a £1.7bn renewable energy scheme planned for Swansea waterfront.
The scheme, led by Bridgend firm DST Innovations, would include a tidal lagoon, a battery factory and floating solar panels.
The project claims it will bring 2,500 permanent jobs to the area if it gets approval.
If approved, it will be developed over 13 years from 2023.
