Covid and hospitality: 'It's difficult to stay glass half-full'

Hospitality workers have called the new Covid restrictions "catastrophic".

The first minister's announcement that nightclubs would close after Boxing Day and social distancing reintroduced has left many fearing for their livelihoods.

Nick Newman, chair of Cardiff Licensees Forum, said: "We are by definition glass half-full.

"But it's getting really increasingly difficult to see the positive outcome here."
