Fire crews tackle blaze at Rhymney recycling factory

Firefighters have been tackling a large blaze at a recycling factory.
Eighteen appliances were sent to Heads of Valley Industrial Estate, Rhymney, Caerphilly county, shortly after 01:30 GMT, including three aerial platforms and two water bowsers.
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service received 96 calls from the public about the blaze at Dragon Recycling.
Residents in Rhymney, Pontlottyn and Dowlais have been advised to keep doors and windows closed due to the smoke.
Firefighters continued to work at the scene on Saturday lunchtime.
The fire service said it was working with partners including National Resources Wales in "developing a robust plan to mitigate any impacts of the fire".
It said it was not aware of any injuries.
Eight appliances remain at the scene on Saturday morning.
"Attendance was reduced this morning, however are still fighting the fire," it said.
"The fire is producing large quantities of smoke."
