Kinnock describes wife as his 'continent of rocks'

The former Labour leader Neil Kinnock has described his wife, who has Alzheimer's, as "not just a rock, but a continent of rocks".

Lord Kinnock said despite Glenys' condition, she retained a sense of merriment and was good company.

During an interview to mark his 80th birthday, he said his family had been "fundamental" to him during his career.
