Snapchat sex abuse officer Lewis Edwards answers 'no comment'

A police officer jailed for life for having thousands of indecent images of children repeatedly answered "no comment" when interviewed.

Lewis Edwards of Cefn Glas, Bridgend, groomed more than 200 girls online and asked many to send him photos via Snapchat.

The 24-year-old, who had 4,500 indecent images of children, admitted 160 counts of child sexual abuse and blackmail.

South Wales Police released footage of his interview following his sentencing on Wednesday.

The officer, in the same force, messaged 210 girls aged 10 to 16 from November 2020 until February 2023 and images of 207 of them were found on his devices.
